Based out of Kelowna, BC, ArkenFire’s music fuses traditional & power metal along with elements from other sub-genres which leads to a very unique listening experience. Each band member brings a wide range of influences to the table, and it shows in their music.

After leaving their previous project “Saints of Debauchery” which disbanded in 2010, Randy Peterson and Netto Figueiredo decided it was time to create the power metal project they always wanted. So in July 2011, they began working on new material under the name Souless Fate. They were joined by their good friend Taylor Blackstock on lead guitar and spent many months seeking a vocalist who could deliver the power they had envisioned. Finally, in a twist of fate, they were introduced to Jacob LeBlanc through a friend of theirs, and things started looking up for the four-piece.

Later that year, Taylor moved back to his home province, and a series of auditions for a new guitar player was held before finding Braden Morrison whom they met at a local show. The band was feeling great, and it was decided that they would change their name to celebrate the new path they were forging and to create a new image & sound for themselves. Thus, ArkenFire was born.

As time went on, ArkenFire focused on writing new material and tightening up their sound and even had some recordings-in-progress, but unfortunately, things were starting to slow down due to various personal reasons. Eventually, it was mutually decided that the project would be put on indefinite hiatus.

Fast forward to early 2015… Randy and Netto began jamming again and rekindling their passion for playing metal. They reached out to Jacob who was more than happy to join them for an impromptu session, and it was decided that ArkenFire would rise from the ashes once again.

Soon, a prospective guitar player named Ian Mccall reached out to them and after a few rehearsals, it was clear that ArkenFire was about to reach new heights. Feeling ready to conquer new territories, they set on a quest to find a bass player to fill out the low end of their sonic spectrum. Enter Milan Bertucci. Milan was a mutual friend who expressed interest in joining the group, and quickly adapted to their style while bringing his own thunderous tone and catchy bass lines.

On May 12, 2017, they released their debut EP 'Celestial Beasts' and have been gigging steadily since including appearances at numerous festivals including:

Armstrong Metal Fest 2016\2017\2018\2019

(Armstrong, BC)

Hell Raiser Fest 2016
(Kelowna, BC)

Hyperspace Festival 2018
(Vancouver, BC)

Okanagan Disintegration 2019

After spending a solid few years honing their live stagecraft and sharing the limelight with the likes of Diamond Head, Devin Townsend, Unleash The Archers, Helion Prime, Striker, and many more, ArkenFire returns from the studio with a blazing new release 'Trials Through Time' which features nine brand new tracks as well as a multitude of guest appearances including keyboardist Fabio Laguna (Ex-Angra, Edu Falaschi, Hangar).
